I wanted to give everyone an update as to where things are now. As you know from my last update, our family was supposed to leave for Ocean City, Maryland this morning. Due to the events of the past few days, we have decided that we cannot make that trip now, and that we will spend the week at home together as a family. There is a reason why we all already had this week off for vacation. God knew we would need to have the support of each other. Jeff's condition is serious, and we are asking for continued prayer for him and for our family. I still believe that God has a plan for us, and I still cling to his promises.
Psalm 71:14 "But as for me, I will always have hope, I will praise you more and more."
We have had people ask what they can do to help us. Along with your continued prayers, emails or cards of encouragement, especially for Jeff and Gwen and for my parents, would be appreciated.
